Welcome to the Lockhart Station website! Lockhart Station is a band based in Ottawa, Canada. The band's sound is a unique blend of southern rock with hints of folk and country influences. The band was formed in November 2010 and combines the eclectic influences of the three founding band members. The band's first album, Check Your Ticket, is a set of eight songs written by Peter Oberle (lead guitar, vocals). Peter Steele lends his solid rhythm guitar style and back-up vocals on this album. Lisa Thompson's range and vocal depth combined with her powerful interpretations bring Lockhart Station's songs to life.
The band is very excited to be working on their next CD. It promise even more musical variety and will include compositions from other band members, while maintaining Lockhart Station's unique sound.
